Withdrawal notice
Who this is for
This notice is for consumers who buy the Locklay visitor Pass (see section 10 of the terms). Creator and advertiser accounts are for business users, who have no statutory right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([provider name], [postal address], email [contact email]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post, or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that the Pass should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until the time you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract. For a Pass that is billed weekly or monthly, that is the part of the current billing period that has passed, counted in days. What is provided during a free trial is free of charge.
If the Pass started with a trial that has a one-time trial price, the trial price is the price of the trial period and is counted the same way. If you withdraw during the trial, you pay the share of the trial price for the days of the trial that have passed, and we reimburse the rest of it. If you withdraw after the trial has ended, the trial price is not reimbursed, and for the regular price the part of the current billing period that has passed is counted as set out above.
Starting at once
The Pass works as soon as you have paid and claimed it. So that it can start before the withdrawal period is over, the checkout asks you to confirm two things:
- that the Pass should start immediately; and
- that you know that, if you withdraw after it has started, you pay a proportionate amount for what has been provided until then (and that the right of withdrawal ends once the contract has been fully performed, which for a Pass that runs for a period is the end of that period).
The checkout cannot be completed without both confirmations. We store them with your purchase, with the time you gave them.
Withdrawing is not cancelling
Withdrawal (within 14 days of buying) undoes the contract. Cancelling (at any time) ends a running subscription at the end of the paid period (during a trial, at the end of the trial: the regular price is then never charged, and a trial price already paid is not reimbursed). You can cancel without an account on the cancellation page.
